This is a (small) begging letter. Rosie and Kirstie go to the local primary school in Ubley village which has less than 60 kids from about 45 families. The incompetent and useless local government will not pay for a new classroom which is needed, so we are having to try and raise over £90,000 to get it built - a HUGE sum for such a small community. We have raised about £20,000 in local fundraising so far, leaving a short fall of £70,000.

Anyone feeling generous can of course send lump sums payable to the school to me (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

It does NOT, I repeat it does NOT cost you anything extra at all, we just benefit from the company a small percentage of what you spend. Do you do your supermarket shopping online? They are there too!

You will see on the website there are other ways of helping - lots of free trials which give up pretty generous donations - I have just signed on to the Which website which gives Ubley a £9 donation straight off. All I have to do, if I want to, is cancel after 30days and it has cost me no money at all. A 'free' donation.

please, please, please look at the website and consider using it for all your online purchases. There are very few major retailers missing from their list. I have just bought an Ipod shuffle via Apple, and Ubley will receive at least 1.5% of the cost....
