CVFDS is having a break through August - so no meeting now until

September 3rd. This meeting will be Demonstration by Janet Woodfield

entitled ' Spice of Life'

An early warning for our next Open Evening on November 19th 2007: This

is to be our Christmas special and it will be a demonstration entitled

'Celebrating Midwinter' by Susie Edwards.

The venue is now confirmed as Dundry Village Hall and as usual visitors

are most welcome. Ticket prices will be announced closer to the date.

The Club Diary this year comprises of our usual practice sessions, with Tutor Ruth Alliban. Ruth has set a programme of teaching, which will provide a diversity of styles and techniques, as well as stretching the imagination. The Demonstration evenings always prove to be popular, providing entertainment as well as enriching our ideas of colour and design.

New members are always welcome. No previous experience is necessary. A love of flowers and plant material, together with an interest in how to present them, to the best advantage, is all you need for starters.

Meetings are bi-monthly, on the 1^st and 3^rd Mondays of the month, (unless otherwise stated). Our meeting place is Compton Martin village hall, except for our special twice- yearly Open Demonstrations, which are usually held at Bishop Sutton Village Hall.
